Not that scary, apart from one or two disturbing bits, the plot is wafer thin and one of those that when you get to the end you keep thinking 'but ...'. The acting is pure B movie. It is set in London at the end of the Victorian era. The only reason to watch this is if you are specifically looking for low budget B grade horror from the 70's.
After a certain point I forgot this was a guessing game, I really didn’t care who did what and why. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. Extremely enjoyable mystery; a real throwback to the Universal thrillers of the 40's. This is one of those cheapo horror flicks that were churned out in the 60s/70s, using lots of people who'd been big stars in the 30s and 40s, and not really giving them that much to do. Directed by Georg Fenady. If you haven't watched the "House of Wax" with Mr. Price please do so as it was a great movie. This anthology tells three stories: one of time travel, one of vampires, and one of a mother wishing her drowned son back to life.
