Extra bracing and excessive reinforcement establishes the Excel Bay Pro as the toughest in the industry. From the research I have done if you get an express get the X or H model. Xpress Hyper-Lift Bay Series boats are the SOLUTION. First class indeed.The two front lockable boxes hold up to 12 fishing rods, 6 in each. excel also makes a nice bay boat in aluminum with a good vee i wouldn't worry about welds, the xpress & excel hulls are built like tanks even sturdier than my alumacraft & have warranties on the hulls for 5+ years The boxes are designed with a recessed water lip under the cover that channels water away from the box and on to the floor where it drains into the bilge area.
