Anyone have this monitor?A community for links to products that are on sale at various websites. I was a little skeptical buying it because of the brand, but I've had no problems with the Freesync or anything, and it looks fine playing games. The other two have plenty of reviews and many like them. It also seems to be brighter than the aoc and MSI at 320 nits compared to their 250. It comes with a display port for 165hz and overall I am happy with the purchase.I did a dead pixel test and I believe I found one at the bottom left corner of the screen but you can’t notice it unless the entire screen is 1 color. Cheap, right? I broke my 144hz LG monitor while moving some of my stuff around, I don’t care for it enough to replace it with a better one or the same model, and I see sceptre has some nice looking curved monitors. I'm looking to either get a 24" or 27". How is this compared to the asus and AOC 24” monitors? On paper it’s got 165Hz and a brightness of 320 nits instead of the 144Hz and 250 nits of the other two. I’d give it a 4/5.Edit: I forgot to mention it has built in speakers. This one might have Freesync 2 (w/ HDR). No dead pixels or anything.I ordered this late last week and got it yesterday. Will retail for $400 while the Sceptre is $300. I've seen more consistent reviews from Viotek but much more products from SceptreWhich is the one from viotek?

Is it a brand worth buying? If you care about the difference between 144 and 165 this is a good monitor, but if not I would just wait and try to grab an ASUS restock.FYI the ASUS one is currently "in stock" on Amazon.

I have it set at 50% so pure guestimating it's probably how bright the Asus can get?Forgot to post price on the last post, but this seems to be a fairly new monitor. Press question mark to learn the rest of the keyboard shortcuts I've seen Sceptre monitors before but they looked like garbage back then and they're starting to look a lot higher quality now. Also if anyone has any monitor suggestions that are 1080p, 24" or 27", bezel-less, and preferably has either 2 HDMI ports or an HDMI and a DP for at most $160 let me know.
I ordered one earlier with an expected delivery date of June 26th. [Monitor] Sceptre 30-inch 21:9 Curved Gaming Monitor C305W-2560UN 2560x1080p Ultra Wide Ultra Slim HDMI DisplayPort - $199 ($249.99-$50) EDIT: So from what I've been reading Cooler Master also has a 30" 2560x1080 200hz Freesync monitor in the works.

I switched it to 165 and I did notice a difference!Still waiting for my ASUS VP249 to come in, it says delivery is running late and I’m thinking it’s probably never coming.

When I installed the sceptre monitor I thought “hmmm, I don’t see any difference between 60 and 165”. It's supposed to be 165Hz through display port and a brighter display at 320 nits instead of 250 for the AOC and ASUS.Ya I have the Asus one and it is noticeably darker than my VG248, though I can't speak for the AOC or the Sceptre.Should I go for this or for one from Viotek? Now it's telling me it will be here on Saturday.Do you think the Asus is bright enough? I have been using a LG IPS234 and I can't find a good source on how bright it gets but I believe it's 300 nits. The Sceptre definitely has worse colors, but tbh I haven't tried messing with them too much. I currently have an Acer monitor that has lasted me 4-5 years and it still works, but I want a bigger, higher resolution monitor. If not Sceptre, I was looking at AOC since they're not much more either the 24V2H or the 27" version (27V2H)The AOC monitors lack some of the features like built in speakers (which are most likely garbage anyways but nice to have) and dual HDMI ports, which would be nice since I could plug in a PS4 and PC without having to use a splitter or vga adapter. If anyone has any experience with Sceptre let me know, good or bad. There's not many reviews on it but it seems to be the same panel as the AOC 24G2 and the ASUS VP249QGR. I’m not sure if 1 dead pixel increases the chances of getting more in the future (I hope not). This monitor only has a 1 year warranty.

If anyone has any experience with Sceptre let me know, good or bad. Both companies don’t really have great reputations in the monitor world, but with sceptre it’s a new product and i’m optimistic about it.At first glance the sceptre beats out all three at 165Hz. Then I checked my display settings and it was on 60 Hz. I'm looking to get a new monitor (or 2), but I don't really want to spend much more than $100 on one monitor. You could get a good one with no problems or you'll be glad you got the insurance.New comments cannot be posted and votes cannot be castHome of the computer component that you see most, your Monitor.Press J to jump to the feed. A monitor with HDMI and DP would work best for me, but I had trouble finding them within my budget. They’re not good (as expected) but I consider it a good backup speaker so that’s another plus. Anyway, - (tl;dr at the end) So I was losing my sanity shopping for PC parts on black Friday, when a post on r/buildapcsales came up - "30 inch UW 200Hz curved monitor for 230$".
